He works alongside the Crypters and other Apostles of the Alien God to combat the servants of Panhuman history. The Alien God later summons him as an Alter-Ego class Servant into the Lostbelts. He claims he did not have the qualifications to become a Heroic Spirit despite his fame due to not performing enough Heroic Deeds in life but was still somehow able to be summoned as a Pseudo-Servant into the body of Shirou Emiya. His real name is Senji Muramasa, the legendary Japanese swordsmith who is said to have reached the realm of the gods in life. He supports Musashi and Rituska in their duels against Avenger and the Heroic Spirit Swordmasters. He set up a workshop in the hut of an Old Blacksmith in the village. He becomes the adoptive parent of the children Onui and Tasuke after witnessing monsters slaughter their parents along with much of their village. Saber is a Saber-class Pseudo-Servant, summoned by The Counterforce into the Pseudo-singularity, Shimousa.
